Role and Responsibilities
Sri Sai Medicode is inviting applications from life science graduates for the role of Medical Biller / Coder in Hyderabad. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for freshers looking to build a career in health informatics and medical coding.
Selected candidates will work on IPDRG (International Patient Diagnosis Related Groups) coding and billing processes for the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing patient records and translating clinical documentation into standardized codes.
- Ensuring accurate billing for insurance claims.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures.
- Following industry regulations and guidelines to maintain compliance.
- Managing and maintaining patient data with confidentiality.
Candidates will receive IPDRG training after placement, making it a perfect opportunity for those looking to enter the medical coding field without prior experience.
Eligibility
We are looking for candidates with the following educational backgrounds:
Undergraduate (UG)
Any Graduate, B.Tech/B.E. in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, B.Pharma, BDS, B.Sc (Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Physics)
Postgraduate (PG)
Any Postgraduate including MD, MDS, MS/M.Sc in Science (Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Nursing, Physics), M.Pharma, M.Tech (Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology), Biomedical
Doctorate
Ph.D./Doctorate in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Physics, Bio-Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physical Education
Freshers with relevant qualifications (including non-certified candidates) are encouraged to apply. Certified candidates will be given preference, but certification is not mandatory.
