Role and Responsibilities
Are you a seasoned SAP BASIS expert with a passion for system performance and cloud transformation? A reputed company is hiring a SAP Basis Senior Consultant for its Bengaluru (Hybrid) location. If you have over 10 years of experience in SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, and cloud migrations (AWS/Azure), this is a golden opportunity!
Key Responsibilities include:
- Execute SAP BASIS administration and perform S/4 HANA version upgrades.
- Manage SAP HANA installations, kernel updates, and system refresh operations.
- Troubleshoot and configure the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Lead SAP cloud migrations to AWS and Azure using the SUM DMO tool.
- Implement and manage SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and integrate CHARM for transport control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Perform proactive system monitoring and implement alert mechanisms using SolMan.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in SAP BASIS and S/4 HANA environments
- Strong track record in managing SAP upgrades and migrations
Certifications (Preferred):
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP ASE/SAP HANA)
- ITIL Foundation Certified (a plus)
Skills:
- SAP System Installation & Configuration (S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, GRC, Solution Manager, SDI, OpenText, Cloud Connectors)
- Deep expertise in SAP HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, and Sybase databases
- Proven experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, security & authorisation capabilities
- Experience in SAP cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Ability to lead junior Basis engineers and collaborate across teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset
Work Timing:
1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST (India Shift)
