Role and Responsibilities:
Are you an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant seeking your next challenge in a hybrid setup? A leading company in Bengaluru is hiring a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in advanced ABAP development.
As a Senior Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- RICEFW Development: Design and deliver Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows, including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
- OO ABAP & Advanced Programming: Build scalable solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP and implement design patterns for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Custom Enhancements: Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- SAP Interface Development: Manage BAPI/RFC, EDI-IDOC, and ODATA services for seamless integrations.
- HANA ABAP Specialization: Develop CDS Views, use AMDP, and implement the RAP Framework for efficient HANA-based solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Perform tuning and debugging to resolve complex performance issues and enhance SAP efficiency.
- Technical Documentation & Reviews: Prepare Technical Design Specifications (TDS), and participate in self and peer reviews for high-quality deliverables.
- Incident Management: Provide expert support in resolving SAP-related incidents and technical challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 10 years of ABAP development experience in SAP projects.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in RICEFW, OO ABAP, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and HANA ABAP.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Interfaces including BAPI, RFC, ODATA, and IDOC.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to perform performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SAP incident management processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
